The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure By James Dashner

A bit after I read the sequel to The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trails, I started the third book, The Death Cure. I don't know if I was just bored of the story by then, but I was very disappointed by this book. It just dragged and sort of 'force read' it. If you're anything like me, you can't just give up a book in the middle of the story, but I wasn't very tempted.

This was probably the worst out of the three novels I've read so far. I will, however, read the next book in the series purely to see if it is any better. The story did have a fair few exciting scenes amongst the boys in the group and WICKED but most of the book just didn't tickle my fancy. The storyline was a little unclear, no new, exciting characters and the ending was highly unsatisfying and rushed. I would only recommend the book to people who are REALLY indulged in the series and feel they wouldn't be able to live without knowing what Thomas and the boys do next.

After Thomas finds himself trapped inside the WICKED headquarters, he finds his friends and plan an escape. Once in the 'real world', Thomas and the boys fuel a new spark of anger towards WICKED through many 'incidents' and explanations. Thomas finds himself fighting against cranks and people he thought he could trust. As the story behind WICKED and the Flare becomes tangled and then slowly unraveled, Thomas is caught between saving and betraying.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower By Stephen Chbosky

In 2012, the month of September the great book 'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower' made it to the big screen. Having no idea about the book or even knowing it was from a book I watched the movie. I loved it, I really did. Even though I was too young to understand some parts of the movie I still ADORED the characters and the storyline. When I was informed it was book, two and bit years later I finally got to read it.

I have to say I was very surprised at the style of writing, it's not a very hard read. BUT THIS BOOK WILL TOIL WITH YOUR EMOTIONS UNTIL YOU CRY. I have to say this is probably one of my favourite novels and if you are even considering reading this book just do it ! Like now, go read. The situations and characters and personalities in this book are just utterly incredible. Reading it was incredible. I'm pretty sure its changed me as a person. I've never read anything like it. It's just really great.

Charlie enters high school alone and quite terrified. He meets some different characters known as Patrick and Sam. They become friends and share their knowledge of life and their purpose in it. This leads to new friendships and events Charlie never thought he'd be apart of. He finds himself fitting in with his favourite people. All the while Charlie is going through difficult things from his past and has to decide to overcome it or let it consume him. This an amazing book and should be on everyone's 'to-read' list.

The Maze Runner 2: The Scorch Trails By James Dashner

Since I love reading I thought doing book reviews as part of my blog would be nice. I recently finished a book that I would like to share:

As many people might know, late 2014 The Maze Runner made it to the big screen. Someone told me I HAD to read the book before it came out otherwise it just wasn't right. I did read it and was actually amazed I enjoyed it. I'm not very into action and stuff, I'm more into love and stuff. After watching the movie, I was quite sad that it was very different from the book. Some scenes were changes weirdly. Anyway I read The Maze Runner 2: The Scorch Trails and it was incredible ! It was even better than the first book. It was so interesting and the drama, like never stopped !

If you know about Thomas and the Gladers, in the book the boys are sent on another mission by the organisation known as WICKED. They meet new people and go on lots of new adventures in the 'real world'. I've got to say the action and situations were much better in this novel and I enjoyed the relationships between Thomas and new people the Gladers met. The end is REALLY AMAZING #JUSTSAYING and if you want to read this book you're actually gonna have to read all four including the first one. It is said that the movie will be coming out this year September ? Hope they use the book for more of a guide this time.
